Chalet des Anglais, en hiver
Aerial footage from all around the Chamonix Valley during the winter of 2017. I was fortunate enough to attend a conference in therapeutic ultrasound at the Les Houches Ecole de Physique. During this time I made the most of the clear weather days. I focussed particularly on the Chalet des Anglais, hidden away in the forest high above Les Houches. This chalet is owned by the University of Oxford and I was fortunate to spend multiple summers there as an undergraduate student. This video is filmed on a Phantom 3 Standard and a smartphone, then editted in Premiere Pro and After Effects
A year in the valley
On my visits to the Chamonix Valley I have managed to capture multiple scenes in both the height of summer and the depths of winter. This video shows the stark contrast between the seasons and the dramatic changes that the Alps undergo every year.
